I have the absolute honor of working with some amazing people through the venture of this magazine. Stop this moment, grab a pen and paper, and write down ten people you are thankful for and how they have influenced your life. Tape it to your bathroom mirror.
I’ve made it a goal to be transparent about 2020 and some of the darkness. I posted one night on Facebook, a simple post – “I’m having a rough time. Who is available to talk?” I’m not saying this to boast, but I had to take the post down in 45 mins because of the number of calls, texts, and messages from people who were truly concerned and reached out to help, that it was inundating my phone.
When you need a lifeline, I’ll borrow an analogy from the title of a book by Richard Nelson Bolles, What Color is Your Parachute?¹ Who is there in your world that you can count on when you need that support?
I want to take this time to thank those people that were there for me. Life is so short and so precious. I hope that in the last year we have all learned to appreciate the people in our lives, because in the end, those individuals are what make us who we are, and bring us the joy within.
2021 promises to be a new year. Let’s celebrate it, as we are truly Greater Together.²
May happiness be abounding.³
