World AIDS Day is a time to honor those we have lost and recommit ourselves to ending the HIV epidemic. Our community will come together on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. for Broward House‘s annual World AIDS Day Candlelight Walk. Friends will meet at Hagen Park and walk down Wilton Drive, united in memory and love. The walk culminates at the Pride Center Pavilion with words of respectful remembrance, support, and continued vigilance led by guest emcee FayWhat?!. The vigil will also feature a performance by Richard Fulks of the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida.
We invite the community to join us at Hagen Park to strengthen this tradition of hope and healing. Special thanks to this evening’s partners and sponsors: The Pride Center at Equality Park, Gilead, the City of Wilton Manors, the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida, HOTspots Happening Out, and OutClique Magazine.
