Visit Lauderdale is sharing a fun line-up of events and activities to help you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day throughout Greater Fort Lauderdale. Put on your green and have a sham-rocking good time at these upcoming events and community celebrations:
St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival: Paint the town green during Fort Lauderdale’s iconic St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival. The festival kicks off on Saturday, March 16, and features live music, interactive games, cultural activities, a kid’s zone, tasty food and ice-cold beverages from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Tunnel Top Plaza on Las Olas Boulevard. The parade will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and it will travel east on Las Olas Boulevard from Huizenga Plaza to SE 9th Avenue. Guests will enjoy decorative floats, marching bands, pipe and drum corps Irish dancers, street performers and classic automobiles.
Flagler Village’s St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl: Starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, join fellow crawlers at Sistrunk Marketplace to enjoy access to 9+ bars, five complimentary shots, and exclusive drink specials throughout the evening. With DJs, music and entertainment, this epic crawl is the best way to discover unknown places and meet new friends in Fort Lauderdale.
The 11th Annual Fort Lauderdale Shamrock Run: Wake up early on Sunday, March 17, for a 4-mile run through Downtown Fort Lauderdale starting at 8 a.m. After the run, you’ll be able to enjoy a party with food, drinks, and music in Huizenga Plaza. Runners 21 and over can redeem a ticket on their bib for a free gift. Plus, starting at 9:30 am, little ones (11 and under) can also join in on the fun at the Lucky Leprechaun Kids Dash.
Bokampers Sports Bar & Grill – If you really want a taste of Irish culture, make sure to try the delicious Corned Beef & Cabbage, exclusively available at Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill until March 18.
