The 5th annual FLoatarama Flotilla is the largest LGBTQ+ Pride-on-Water in America, and an official Stonewall Pride Parade & Street Festival event. The FLoatarama Flotilla is presented by Hunter’s Nightclubs and supported by and Sun Dream Yacht Charters.
When: Saturday, June 8, 2024 (midday – exact timing to be finalized subject to railway bridge opening schedules).
Where: The Flotilla starts at the Broward Center / Esplanade Park docks on the New River in downtown Fort Lauderdale and will proceed down the New River and along the Intra Coastal Waterway (ICW) to Sunrise Bay.
Note: the lead vessel Yacht Catalina will load and depart from the GALLERYone dock located at 2670 East Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale FL 33304 and proceed up the New River to the Esplanade Park start point. Yacht Catalina will then signal the official start of the Flotilla and lead the fleet back down the New River.
Visuals: The signature Flotilla will feature 30+ private and commercial boats, all fabulously decorated for Pride. Sun Dream Yacht Charter’s magnificent 130-foot Yacht Catalina will lead the fleet with award-winning DJ and 400+ celebrants onboard. Supporting law enforcement vessels (Fort Lauderdale Marine Patrol, Broward Sheriff’s Office, Wilton Manors Police, Miami Dade Police & Coast Guard) will lead the Flotilla ahead of Yacht Catalina.
Why: FLoatarama is a South Florida 501(c)3 all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to lift up LGBTQ+ Youth. FLoatarama has donated $142,000 to date, with a 2024 goal of $150,000.100% of all ticket sales will go to the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund, managed by our philanthropy partner The Our Fund Foundation.
