I’m sure you understand that we could all use a little more time to prepare. We are working very hard to make a safe and fun event, and we hope you can join us. We’re looking forward to seeing you on April 24, 2021, for a fantastic Saturday in Fort Lauderdale, FL!
We wanted to remind you that your participation and fundraising would help these organizations provide lifesaving medication and services to people in need right here in South Florida. So, we need you to join us and support them more than ever. No matter when the Florida AIDS Walk takes place and what form our gathering takes, these amazing organizations still benefit from your participation and depend on your fundraising.
If you’re on a team representing one of our official beneficiaries, 100% of your fundraising dollars goes directly to benefit your organization. So, if you are affiliated with a beneficiary and you’d like to support directly, join their team.
Learn the Facts
An estimated 1.1 million people in the US are living with HIV, and 15% of them don’t even know it. Florida is disproportionately affected, and while progress has been made, the rate of new HIV diagnosis is back on the rise.
Funds raised support HIV/AIDS services for our friends and neighbors throughout Florida. The benefiting organizations are:
- AIDS Healthcare Foundation
- Equality Florida
- Latinos Salud
- The Pride Center at Equality Park
- World AIDS Museum
