Facing fierce challenges, including harsh anti-LGBTQ+ political attacks, they respond with grace, wisdom, and a tenacity that belies their years. I’m honored to witness this determination, creativity, and unbreakable resolve in my role as the CEO of SunServe. SunServe Youth Services: A Beacon of Hope
SunServe’s Youth Services create a nurturing space where LGBTQ+ youth find acceptance, understanding, and opportunities for growth.
- Counseling Services: Our specialized therapists extend a lifeline to LGBTQ+ youth, their loved ones, and allies through individualized mental health support.
- Life-Coaching: The path to adulthood is complex. SunServe’s Youth Life-Coaching program offers tailored guidance, fostering confidence and wise decision-making.
- Temporary Landing Home: Together with partners, SunServe has founded a temporary landing home for LGBTQ+ youth in need, providing shelter and supportive care.
- Drop-In Center: A sanctuary for many, our drop-in center encourages friendship and personal growth through socializing, resources, and activities.
- Educational Workshops and Groups: Empowerment through education is key, with workshops and groups on subjects ranging from HIV prevention to leadership.
- Social Events: More than mere socializing, our events celebrate diversity, acceptance, and joy, uniting our community in a relaxed environment.
