I am so lucky! That’s right, luck has been on my side the whole time. I took the time to work on myself, improve my self image, become a more positive me, a happier me, a stronger me. Do not confuse this with the term, “The New Me.” I am not trying to reinvent myself or use my favorite word “resolution.”

This version of me did not start as an idea, it began as a plan.

As I embarked on my journey to explore me, improve my faults, and learn from my mistakes, I have always wanted to bring people along with me during this long journey. The luck of it all is right here on this page. These black and white letters. They have allowed me to provide a window for others to see they are not alone. They battle the same issues as many others and I am there with you giving my perspective. I am lucky to be able to do this.

 You might ask yourself, “How the heck does this relate to me?”

Well, the answer is simple, I have been lucky enough to have this outlet. As do you. Everyday you encounter many people through social media, texts, cell phone, email, etc. Occasionally, you might be lucky enough to help someone through a tough time with your words. During your rise, take that fortune and spread it amongst others. That way your universe is as lucky as you.
