The Big Gay Key West “Cabana Boy Edition” is a large social event that already has hundreds of gay men of a larger stature, as well as the men of varied sizes who admire them, coming to Key West from many other states as well as several other countries.
Event Organizer Ralph Gonzalez says “Big Gay Key West invites gay chubby men, their admirers/chasers, and bears to the LGBT island paradise of Key West, Florida to take part in a 6-day event featuring exclusive access to four beautiful, luxurious, gay male clothing optional resorts: Island House, New Orleans House and Equator Resort, as well as Alexander’s Guesthouse, and guests enjoy reciprocal access to all of the properties.” Nightly happy hours and rotating pool parties will be held at the above resorts/bars and include complimentary cocktails featuring Crystal Head Vodka and hors d’oeuvres. The Marriott Beachside Key West Hotel serves as the overflow Hotel.

During the first day of the event, the Equator Resort is hosting a Big Gay Key West photoshoot shot by local photographer Larry Blackburn for the first ever hardcover coffee table book artistically created to feature men of all sizes and shapes, from twinks to very large and bearish. There will be an emphasis on romantic as well as erotic poses that showcase the beautiful relationships, focusing on the artistic beauty of the big gay man’s body, body hair, and curves while capturing the strength of manliness and emotional attachment. Though the photoshoot will photograph naked men, there will be no genitals shown in the photo book. A large number of registered guests have signed up for the photoshoot at the Equator resort.
On the same day, the New Orleans House will host the Jersey Mikes welcome lunch bites for our registered guests in the famous Garden Bar area. During the lunch, there will be a display of fruits displayed and presented on the male body known as the ancient Japanese art of Nantaimori (loosely translated as the adorned body of a man). During Japan’s Edo period 1603-1868, Nyotaimori (female) became popular with Japanese warriors and samurai.
The Big Gay Key West Sunset Dinner Cruise aboard the Key West “Sunset Party Cat” will be the largest Chubs, Chasers, & Bears sunset sailing ever in the Florida Keys with an amazing tropical food buffet and open bar as the local steel drum performer fills the air with tropical vibes.
