The South Florida Pride Concert Band announced it will kick off its 2023-24 season with And the Award Goes To on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

Paying homage to the greatest singers, composers and actors, the South Florida Pride Concert Band will perform a compilation of songs that have won a coveted Emmy, Grammy, Oscar or Tony award. The concert will include highlights from several exceptional vocalists, videos accompanying many of the selections and a guest appearance by a local seven-time Grammy Award winner. Song selections will include classic sing-along favorites such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Game of Thrones, Star Trek, Rent, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and a tribute to EGOT composer Leonard Bernstein.
