Noted interior designer and artist Josel Suarez will hold an exhibition and sale of his paintings at his home in Hollywood to benefit the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida, from 5 to 9 p.m., Sunday, February 9.
Entitled “Brushes and Batons,” the show will honor the chorus’ artistic director, Harold Dioquino, and feature solos by several members of the chorus. Twenty-five percent of the sales will be donated to the chorus, which is a 501(c )(3) public charity.
Suarez is a former singing member of the chorus and serves on the organization’s board of directors. His art and home design have been featured in numerous interior design magazines. Recently, he exhibited his paintings at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC.
