If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be swept into an Irish Pub without leaving your seat, well, the Shamrock Tenors are ready to show you on Friday, April 4, 2025, at The Parker.

Traveling from Belfast, brothers Raymond and Jack Walsh lead the Shamrock Tenors, an internationally touring singing group that brings sound, soul, and stories of Ireland to stages around the world. Alongside the brothers, the group includes singer Jimmy Johnston, renowned for his powerful vocals; Matthew Campbell, a gifted singer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist; and Tom Brandon, a versatile singer, director, and actor whose dynamic performances captivate audiences. Together, they form a group that’s more than just an Irish folk ensemble—they are a living testament to unity, tradition, and the journey of Northern Ireland from conflict to harmony.

“We are children of the peace process,” Raymond says. “Thirty or forty years ago, there was a war going on. Now our group represents both the Protestant and Catholic communities in Northern Ireland. We are not just celebrating Irish music; we are celebrating how far our country has come.

Their performances are more than just shows—they are experiences.

“Even in a West End theatre, one of our favorite reviews said it felt like being in a pub in Ireland,” Jack adds. “That’s what we want, whether you’re in Belfast, Galway, Cork, or sitting in a 5,000-seat venue in the U.S. we want it to feel like home.”

The balance between high-energy fun and emotional depth is what makes their concerts unique.

“One minute you’re wiping away a tear during Danny Boy, and the next you’re clapping and singing along to Whiskey in the Jar or Wild Rover,” Raymond says. “It’s a family atmosphere, literally—we’re brothers—and we want everyone to feel like part of that family.”

The group’s success is growing fast, due in large part to their self-driven promotion. With no big production company or marketing budget behind them, the Shamrock Tenors have leaned into social media, particularly TikTok, where they’ve connected with audiences of all ages.

“We expected mostly older audiences with Irish heritage, but we got everyone—kids, people in their twenties out for a night, even folks our granny’s age singing every word,” Jack laughs. “It’s become something bigger than we imagined.”

The journey started in 2018 when Raymond, then performing in Les Misérables in London’s West End, had an idea: gather the best voices from back home in Belfast. He called Jack, who had just returned from film school in LA, and together they handpicked their lineup—friends and musicians they knew were world-class. Their father even joins them on stage as a musician, making this not just a band, but a true family affair. Now, with a 12-week U.S. tour ahead from Florida to Kansas to Boston the group is ready to share their passion with American audiences coast to coast.

“Each state feels like a different country,” says Jack. “And whether it’s our first time there or a place we’ve performed before, we just want to bring our best every night.”

And they do. Even during a show in North Carolina, a keg of Guinness was wheeled into their dressing room as a thank you.

“That definitely doesn’t happen in Ireland,” Raymond jokes.

Reflecting on how they want the Shamrock Tenors to be remembered, Raymond says it best.

“As a group of lads who showed what’s possible when we embrace both sides of our culture—who proved that Northern Ireland is a place of peace, progress, and world-class talent.”

Whether you’re Irish by blood or just in spirit, catching the Shamrock Tenors live promises an unforgettable night of harmony, heritage, and heart.
