Following the Pulse tragedy in 2016, our community came together to show the world that we were Orlando United.

Now, eight years later, our community continues to come together to honor and remember the 49 individuals taken, their families, the survivors and all those directly impacted by the Pulse tragedy.

June 12, 2024, Day of Remembrance Events:

4PM – 49 Bells Ceremony
First United Methodist Church of Orlando, 142 East Jackson Street

The tolling of the bells is part of “Acts of Love and Kindness,” a One Orlando Alliance movement grown out of the spirit of giving and good deeds witnessed in the aftermath of the Pulse tragedy. The movement inspires the Orlando community and beyond to engage in volunteerism, share stories and show support through acts of love and kindness.

7PM – Remembrance Ceremony, doors open at 6PM
Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Steinmetz Hall, 445 South Magnolia Avenue

Community leaders, first responders and the families of the victims and survivors of the Pulse tragedy will come together for an annual remembrance ceremony hosted by the City of Orlando.

The Remembrance Ceremony allows our community to come together every year on the evening of June 12 to honor and remember the 49 angels taken, their families, the survivors, first responders, trauma teams and all those impacted by the tragedy.

The 2024 family and survivor-focused ceremony will be held at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts with doors opening at 6PM and the program beginning at 7PM.

Admission is free but a ticket is required to attend the event.

If you are unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be streamed live.
