Forget decking the halls and start decking the bars. The most decoratively festive fundraiser of the season is back at Pub On the Drive. Their 10th Annual Charity Wreath Auction goes down Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 8pm inside the Pub.

Some are adorned with flowing ribbons, others with bright lights. Some may be decorated with Santa in South Florida getting some sun, Rudolph and his boys. For a decade, creative holiday lovers have brought amazing and memorable wreaths to The Pub for auction.

The money is for a great cause. “We have a good relationship with Kids in Distress (KID),” the Pub’s Managing Partner, Alex Sadeghi, told OutClique. “The first year was a small event, but people liked it. The next year, people were talking about it.”

Wreaths can be dropped off starting November 22, and will be on display around the bar and its new patio, Pride Hub. People can come in and start scoping out their favorites and deciding which pulls on their holiday heartstrings.

The one and only Electra is back as emcee and auctioneer, so you know you’ll be entertained and could be drawn into a bidding war. 

There have been hundreds of wreaths over the decade, but one sticks out in Sadeghi’s memory. “Pompano Bill brought in a beautiful wreath. We kept it for several years.”
