Dear Readers,
Breaking news. It’s hot outside. I know, right?
But guess what? Come December, January, and February, you won’t be digging yourself out of a snowbank, your cars won’t be sliding into each other on the ice, you won’t have to be dressed in so many layers, and you won’t look like a character from A Christmas Story.
And I know there’s a lot of negative talk right now about why Florida isn’t the place to be.
But I have worked my ass off (yes, I know, Mom) to get to Florida.
And no one, no one, is going to take away my chance in life to enjoy this wonderful weather, our diverse community, our amazing beaches, our plethora of cultural activities, or the beautiful home from which I am typing this letter.
No political banter is going to take away my freedom to be happy in the SunShine State. I hope it doesn’t for you either. This, too, shall pass. And we will be victors and not victims¹ once it does.
Happiness is a Choice² and may happiness be abounding.³
