On March 28-30, 2025 the GRAMMY-nominated artists ofSeraphic Fire will present three free community concerts entitled Music of the Passion. Conductor Patrick Dupre Quigley leads 13 of the world’s best choral artists as they perform 17 intricate pieces composed in 1500s through the 1900s and especially appropriate for the season of Lent. This soul-stirring concert of works by Gregorio Allegri, Josquin de Prez, Nikolay Kedrov, William Byrd, and others will explore the rich history of choral music and emphasize the centuries-old power of music to elicit introspection. Conductor Quigley is excited to share these works: “If you’ve never heard Seraphic Fire sing Allegri’s Miserere, you’re missing one of the greatest reasons to live in South Florida. This is your last chance to hear this piece performed for a long time.”
Concerts are free, registration is encouraged but not required. Phone assistance at 305.285.9060.
