Celebrate Five Nights of “Holiday Magic” at the Whimsical and Historic Bonnet House Museum & Gardens

One of South Florida’s most picturesque and iconic attractions, the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, is already planning its extraordinary magical Holiday Season line up of events that locals and out-of-towners won’t want to miss.  The historic and whimsical 35-acre subtropical estate and historic house museum located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale will feature five nights of their 6th Annual Holiday Magic, beginning Friday, December 1, 2023.

Built in 1920 as the winter retreat of the Birch/Bartlett family, the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is a fanciful blend of art, architecture, history, and ecology, providing a charming destination for vacationers or daytrip for visitors of all ages. The estate and historic house museum preserve the natural setting of South Florida, situated on what is one of the last examples of a native barrier island habitat in the region. At the Bonnet House, visitors can experience what life was like on a beachfront estate in the 1930s and ‘40s. The grounds contain the Main House, which features a whimsical collection of decorative and fine art, as well as a nature trail that is ideal for families. The Bonnet House offers exciting self-guided tours, guided tours, programs, events, workshops, and classes.

This holiday season, the Bonnet House will be magically transformed with their 6th Annual Holiday Magic. The house and grounds will be lit up and sparkling, and all the trees, wreaths, and centerpieces throughout the house will be designed to delight and will be available for sale. Guests will also be able to enjoy a self-guided tour of the house during this rare nighttime opportunity and can meet the fantastical characters from the award-winning storybook POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance, who will once again be at Bonnet House with a new presentation from their first ever residency show premiering this December 19-30 at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Additionally, Santa Claus will be in attendance two of the five nights and will be available for photo opportunities.

Holiday Magic is a major fundraiser for the preservation of Bonnet House. All trees, wreaths and centerpieces will be for sale and continue through Christmas. 100% of the proceeds go to Bonnet House. Below are the various Bonnet House Holiday Magic events:
