Better Business Bureau Serving Southeast Florida and the Caribbean would like to announce their annual 2023 Engage Summit & Torch Awards for Ethics which will be held August 23, 2023, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Broward County Convention Center. This year’s event will support Junior Achievement of South Florida and their mission to empower our youth as the next generation of business leaders.
This year the BBB is introducing a new component to the Torch Awards, the BBB Engage Summit. The BBB Engage Summit & Torch Awards will consist of a day of 3 interactive workshops covering topics of interest to attendees raging from AI for Small Businesses to Digital Marketing and Financial preparedness presented by sponsoring businesses, multiple opportunities to network with entrepreneurs and business owners, and the awards luncheon to recognize the winners of the Torch Awards for Ethics who are businesses in the South Florida area that have demonstrated outstanding ethical practices throughout their business.
The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics seek to elevate and celebrate the commitment made by for-profit enterprises to the highest standards of leadership character and organizational ethics. The awards bring attention to the practices that these organizations employ to generate a high level of trust among their employees, customers and their communities. The awards were established in 1994 and embody the BBB’s mission of advancing marketplace trust.
BBB is honored to recognize businesses ethical practices during this prestigious event in an area like South Florida which is no stranger to ethical issues in the marketplace.
