Arsht Center Partners with Miami Police to be a Designated Safe Place for Victims of Hate Crimes

The Arsht Center recently partnered with the City of Miami Police Department as part of their Safe Place initiative, which allows them to serve as a haven for victims of LGBTQIA+ hate crimes and harassment throughout our community.

Safe Place provides victims who have been subjected to a hate crime and/or harassment with a safe location to seek assistance. Anyone who seeks solace in a Safe Place location – like the Arsht Center – can be assured that if they are the victim of a crime, our team will provide shelter and police will be called to investigate.
