In November 2024, Care Resource honored Transgender Awareness Month, recognizing the lives, challenges, and contributions of transgender and gender-diverse individuals. This observance reaffirms their commitment to understanding, advocacy, and support.

Empowering the transgender community amplifies their voices in policy and strengthens trans-led organizations, helping combat discrimination, educate the public, and create safe spaces. Together, Care Resource aims to build a more just and equitable world.

Key ways to support Trans Awareness Month included:

• Visibility & Advocacy: Highlighting violence against transgender individuals and promoting policy changes for equality.
• Community Support: Creating spaces for solidarity, healing, and mourning within the community.
• Education & Awareness: Learning about transgender issues to break stereotypes and reduce misinformation.
• Active Support: Donating, volunteering, and amplifying transgender voices to enhance trans-led initiatives.

In observation of this month, Care Resource honored lost lives and celebrated the resilience of those advocating justice and safety. Care Resource’s Project sTrenGth offers critical gender-affirming care and resources.
