Funding Arts Broward

The vision of Funding Arts Broward, FAB, to be the leading arts ambassador in Broward County, by nurturing, supporting, and promoting the arts in our community, will be realized with the help of arts enthusiasts like you. Our goal is to create a sustainable, expanding funding pool to support art education, performances, exhibitions, and appreciation of the arts. Your support of FAB will help make this vision a reality.

Whether supported through an outright gift or a planned gift, all FAB grants are made possible through the generosity and commitment of people like you. But we also want to make sure you are aware of the benefits to you from making a gift to us.

Of course, you have the satisfaction of knowing you’ve made a difference. But, in fact, the best gift plans may also improve the donor’s financial and tax situations, often right away. Planned gifts can offer the donor many benefits, such as providing additional income for you and/or your heirs, reducing income and estate taxes, relieving you and your heirs of complicated financial management responsibilities, and helping to fulfill your personal, humanitarian and charitable objectives.  Planned gifts can be made in cash, real estate, stocks, bonds, personal property or life insurance.

In addition, all individuals who arrange planned gifts to FAB will be recognized as Legacy Donors. Each year, Legacy Donors will be honored at the annual luncheon. Furthermore, donor names will be included in programs at special events.

There are many ways that your philanthropic gifts can blend with your own financial needs and tax planning, so explore the possibilities and opportunities for creative gift giving. Planned gifts can include:

• Life income gifts
• Gifts of life insurance
• Charitable lead trusts
• Gifts of retirement plans

You make arrangements for the gifts during your lifetime. The principal benefits accrue to FAB in the future, after your death or the death of your last-named beneficiary.
