Summer Science Hours
It’s the summer of science. Frost Science is open daily until 7:00 p.m. through Saturday, August 12, 2023. The Museum has also added extra planetarium shows to their line-up. Guests can take advantage of the extra time to extend their visit and explore.
Summer Camp at Frost Science
Children ages 5-11 can unleash the power of science during Frost Science’s award-winning Summer Camp from June 12 through August 11, 2023. Summer Camp is designed to spark a sense of curiosity and excitement in children through week-long camps themed around the amazing science featured at the museum, including astronomy, technology, marine biology, and archaeology.
Campers will dive into marine science, learn about distant exoplanets, travel back in time to ancient Earth and get hands-on with cutting-edge technology that helps us protect the planet during a summer they will never forget.
WHEN: June 12, 2023 – August 11, 2023; 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. After care is available from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. and is included in the cost of camp.
Laser Evening
Get Ready to Rock Under the Frost Planetarium’s 67-Foot Dome.
Experience legendary music combined with laser light visuals during Frost Science’s next Laser Evening on Friday, July 14. The lineup includes The Beatles: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Band, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley and more. Guests are encouraged to come early to hang out in the Museum’s main atrium where light snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Laser shows rotate throughout the year, as each event has a different lineup. Each Laser Evening show must be purchased separately.
