On December 1, 2022,  Broward County Mayor, Lamar P. Fisher honored World AIDS Day by awarding the World AIDS Museum and Educational Center a proclamation that would bring awareness to the ongoing AIDS/HIV pandemic. In fighting to end this pandemic many community agencies dedicated to prevention and education came out in support of “Rock The Ribbon”. This year’s theme of “Putting Ourselves to the Test: Achieving Equity to End HIV” resonated throughout. WAM graciously thanks Broward County officials for this proclamation.
