Di Pompei Brings Authentic Napoli Pizza and a Multi-Sensory Dining Experience to Brickell

Pizza lovers, rejoice! A new pizza restaurant has opened in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami and is serving authentic Napoli pies in a vibrant, fun atmosphere. The colorful Napoli-inspired outdoor restaurant and beer garden is conveniently located next to Brickell City Center, a bustling hub with an energetic vibe.
The opening of Di Pompei is a gift to Miami from the Pizza Gods. However, there is much more to this place than cheese, sauce, and crust.
Owner, Massimo Leone, is on a quest to create the perfect pizza pie. With Executive Chef, Enrico Sautto, whose family has been making pizza in Napoli since 1870, Leone has made Di Pompei a laboratory where they concoct culinary experiments using the finest ingredients, recipes, and ovens.
The menu is divided into Pizza Rosse (red) and Pizza Bianche (white). The popular Rosse is the Diavola, topped with spicy Calabria salami, parmesan, S. Marzano sauce and mozzarella. The top Bianche is the Quattro Formaggi, which is stacked with a dreamy blend of fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, provolone, fontina, and parmesan. The menu also offers a tasty variety of vegetarian-friendly options.
Nearly all ingredients are imported from Italy (including the water that makes the dough), while cooks pluck fresh herbs from the on-site organic garden. The highlight of the menu is the Vesuvius, a volcanic Bianche packed with ham, fresh mozzarella, and mushrooms, served with fire (really!).
The ovens at Di Pompei are made from Basaltina lava stone that originate from a Vesuvian mine. The lava stones create a temperature as high as 1300 degrees, which will cook a pizza in less than a minute. This ancient method of cooking on lava rock is virtually unseen in restaurants in the United States. The product is a perfectly crisp, fresh pie cooked to an optimal temperature and texture.
After dinner, guests can stick around for drinks, music, and dancing. A fully stocked main bar is staffed by expert mixologists, who skillfully serve blended cocktails and original libations that pair well with the food. Guests can also wet their whistle at the craft beer stand or the tiki bar.
As a veteran of the nightlife industry, Leone catered to the Miami crowd by equipping the venue with a top-notch sound system that resounds with premium acoustics. The restaurant floor is easily transformed into a space for patrons to dance. Di Pompei hosts weekly events and parties featuring internationally acclaimed house DJs and live musicians.
In addition to its selection of authentic, mouthwatering cuisine, Di Pompei offers a truly immersive atmosphere that transports diners to ancient Napoli in Italy.
As patrons enter the restaurant, they are greeted from the street with a giant hand carved replica of Arco di Caligola, the original north gate of the ancient city of Pompei. The floor is tiled with real lava stones from Mount Vesuvius. The walls are covered with colorful murals depicting ancient Italian scenes and tell the history of old-world life.
The many seating options and dining areas create a versatile layout. The main floor is comprised of wooden tables and benches for casual seat-yourself service, while a cloistered area with plush seating offers a more intimate and elevated experience ideal for birthday parties and private events. Additional guest accommodations include a gender-neutral restroom and a children’s playground area.
Di Pompei is open every day, except for Mondays. Brunch is served on Sundays with sounds provided by DJ Kike.
